ROCK AND RETREAT 🤘🤟

  • Song Hill Reserve 300 Lake Road Landrum, SC, 29356 United States (map)

Creativity is fun and healing, but can be challenging if your nervous system is frazzled. Recharge your spark at the Healing Arts Retreat!

Healing Arts Retreat at Song Hill Reserve: July 13-15*, 2023

You are a work of art. You are musical by nature.

Unfortunately, sometimes life weighs down your creative spirit. Perfectionism tells you you’re too much – or not enough. Stress, trauma, mental health issues, and just adulting can block you from feeling absolute joy and connection.

Joy and connection that your neurodivergent brain or highly sensitive nervous system desperately yearns for, but that you rarely experience because you need calm and comfort as much as celebration and expression.

What if you could share in an experience that would help you express your creative nature while nurturing you completely – body, mind, and spirit?

Would you wipe the dust off those art supplies or musical instrument? Maybe you’d finally enjoy that girls’ night that you’ve been mentally planning for when you finally get the time. Would you dance in the moonlight, sing in the shower, or frolic in the woods?

Well, what if all that was not only possible but also affordable?

Would you join us in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina for a weekend healing arts retreat?

If you want to get away with a small group of others who are like you – to a place and time where you can express yourself one moment and seek solace another – this will be your jam!

A mini-getaway where you can enjoy:

Lodging at the beautiful Song Hill Reserve Breezeway (private room, shared rooms, and tent camping options available)

  • Five Meals with Local Fruits and Veggies

  • Two Happy Hours and a Tea Time

  • Rhythmic Somatics, Drumming and Circle Singing

  • Guided Nature Walk

  • Creating Nature Inspired Art with Affirmations

  • Journaling

  • Namastayye Music Meditation with Adrienne Carci

  • S’mores, Dancing and Flow Movement by the Fire with Bridget Brennan

  • Creative Games to Reconnect With Your Playful Side

  • Accupressure Self Care Skills and Sparkle Earseeds to take with you from Dr. Dawn Garrison

*You’ll also have the freedom to CHILL, rest, and opt out of a group experience if you prefer.

Life is hectic. As Ferris once said, Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. And, I can tell you without a doubt that you don’t want to miss this!

*🤘BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE... (ala Billy Mays!)

I had a big idea download after publishing this event: wouldn't it be fun to pair a retreat with a concert outing? Two days later, I saw one of my absolute favorite bands, Rising Appalachia, is hosting a two day music, education and healing arts fest nearby...immediately after this event!

*ROCK AND RETREAT ADD-ON OPTION (+$100):

Make new concert buddies and try out music/movement based coping skills in the magic of a festival atmosphere!

Head out from the retreat to beautiful Asheville, NC alongside your new retreat friends to CATALYST: TWO DAYS OF ART, EDUCATION, AND MUSIC CURATED BY RISING APPALACHIA outdoors at Salvage Station on July 15-16!

This add on includes shared room housing near the venue. Purchase your concert ticket directly from Salvage Station. Travel assistance to AVL is available if needed.

Won’t you join us for this weekend of relaxation and renewed joy?
